Music realm : Tamil Songs

This is my 1st shot creating a blog. I wanted to publish songs that I have rendered in my voice of some of the Indian film songs..

This is one of the zillions of my favorites from IR/SPB combination.
Such a haunting melody. SPBs voice is so fresh in this song and the
gamakas that he sings in both chararams on the high pitch with each
note clearly audible is incredible. Starting music of the song with
the chirping of the birds is an awesome imaginatiion by Raja sir.
Here is my attempt at singing this great/tough number.

To follow a melodious number Ponmaalai is this turbo charged
song composed by the great MSV. Singing this song in one
stretch maintaining the intensity requires lot of lung power..:))

One more in the endless list of melodies from IR/SPB is this
song. The lines in Charanams, 'Unnaadai hey midhakkinra paaladai
un kaalai hey kulippattum neerodai' & 'Panneeril hey ilandegam
neeraadum panipookkal hey unaikandu thaenoorum' ..oh! what a
great soft rendition by SPB.. Perfect example for voice control
in high pitch singing.

Another classic from the same movie...Great poetry from
Kaviarasu Vairamuthu. The ending lines in Charanams are
quite tough pronunciations while singing in shruthi.

Another great song from Nzhalgal, Vairamuthu's 1st movie as a
Lyricist.An artist dream of becoming successful and gaining fame
is perfectly emoted by SPB in this song.

CLASSIC..all time. I had not even dreampt of even attempting this
song when I heard it for the first time watching the movie.
Any amount of effort would be dwarfed by the beautiful rendition
by SPB in the original number....But...the urge is irresistable..:)

flowing for the audience watching the movie..

fail to observe the enthu and the energy he sings this one
with..

I fell in love with this song the moment I saw it on TV..
song has an inexplicable taste and the tune is more like
a soothing gazhal... SPB shows his class as a MD too ..
Pardon the recording quality..I could not get the karaoke
track for this.
