rose SPB to great stature. I was in class 5, when I saw this movie
and as they say music touches hearts irrespective of age,creed,etc....

I just happend to listen to songs of Sri Ramadasu last week and
recollected SPB singing this number in Boston concert last year
September. I could not resist trying this number immediately.
Song ends with a nice rendition of a Slokam from Bhagavatham by
Sri Pothana.
There is one other song.. that I have the urge to sing from the same
movie.

Very nice song sung beatufilly by SPB,Chitra and composed brilliantly
by Keeravani...and the picturization of the song is fitting tothe tune.
I sang both the charanams myself including the initial/inbetween
aalapana and there is no female voice,

This was a classic (amidst of all not so great songs going around
few years back)...and once I listened to SPBs rendition in Telugu ,
could not really feel like listening to the Tamil one,though it was
great, whenever it was played on TV.
Great lyrics and SPB has poured his soul into the song...
LInes... Roja mokkalu naati praanam neeruga posi pooyincha nee
jada kosam... etc.. is fantastic... and some of the Sangathis
SPB has sung are pleasure to ears. He never misses out any
oppurtunity to improvise a sangthi ...., MSV school of music...
I guess :))

Not sure ..how many have heard this wonderful song. Such a great
situation song composed by KVM in that movie..and KJY who sung
for MohanBabu..in quite a number of movies.., left a lasting
impression ..that after 20 years of watching the movie/song..
those memories are still fresh for me..

This is the other song I wanted to sing
from Sri Ramadasu. I heard about this song from
a blog on SPB sir, and was in awe. It reminded
me of an old great number composed by KVM and sung
by SPB, from the movie SiriSiriMuvva...Ra Digira..,
That song too was picturised for the climax scene
in the movie.

a very slow one to bear :)) ).... guess brought KJY a National
award..

My soul gets moist every time I listen to
this song sung extrodinarily by SPB.
One of those songs nobody ever could have
sung the way SPB did...ofcourse all
his songs are like that...This one is special.
Great composition by Rajan Nagendra, and the original
one was in Kannada ..I guess.
OUt of the songs SPB has sung for the hero
Ranganath, this one is out of the world alongside
Mallelu Poose from IntintiRamayanam again
by Rajan Nagendra.
